When considering a blog you may think doing a free blog will save you money and you’d be right. Except for just a few things that fall under the category of you get what you pay for.
First, a free blog doesn’t belong to you, you just write it. The blog belongs to the provider and as such it stays up at their discretion. They have a funny way of disappearing sometimes and you may never know why.

So as I mentioned in my last post you need to be gathering email addresses from your customers. What you do with them is add them to a collection, a collection where you can go through them if you like and have some way to acknowledge your customers and thank them for their business or for just getting on your list.

So what is a blog? Well this site is a blog. Blog is short for weblog or web journal if you like. A blog is fluid and can be added to easily and isn’t fixed like a normal website is. The function is to be a bit more human friendly really. Like using email to talk to each other. We can email when we’re to shy to say hello.
